The Official Rental Performance Index, June 2022
With the official Rental Performance Index, we continue to provide insight and transparency into the Dubai rental market. The most notable outcome in the Mo’asher report in Q2 2022 still pushing the rental contracts toward breaking 2021 performance by reaching 123,856 contracts where 59.48 percent were new contracts while 40.52 percent were renewals. When we look at the timeframe for the contract, in Q2 81.41 percent were annual while 18.41 percent were non-annual.
The registered leases for residential purposes in Q2 acquired around 72.93 percent of the total contracts, while 26.18 percent were registered for commercial purposes.
