Almost 44,000 residential units in Dubai reached 65% completion at end of 2018
It has been announced that almost 44,000 residential units have reached a completion status of at least 65% in Dubai at the end of 2018, according to Construction Week Online. Following fresh research from Dubai Pulse, the open data platform initiative from the Smart Dubai Office, 33,982 residential units were at this level of completion with Dubai’s southeast and southwest experiencing most activity. It has been revealed that 21,014 residential units consisting of apartments, villas and townhouses have reached completion by the end of the third quarter of 2018. The UAE property portal said: “This has been more than the number of units handed over in the past few years, and the inventory will help tenants to negotiate for more competitive rents.”
