Privacy policy

1.          Introduction

1.1.          Propertyfinder FZ-LLC (“PF FZ-LLC”), a company registered in Dubai, with a registered address at office 1505 in Shatha Tower, Dubai Media City, Dubai, UAE, owns and operates the website (“Website” or “Data Finder”). 

1.2.          We operate an online platforms, which we make available through several websites, that allows users to search for and register their interest in properties advertised as available for sale or rent, agents and advertisers to promote properties for sale or rent, providers of CRM services to exchange data with us, as well as, seek and apply for Mortgage Financing (the ” Property Finder Group Service”).

1.3.          Data Finder  is a product that is owned, developed, and operated by PF FZ-LLC, providing real estate data intelligence via real estate market statistics, data, reports, and proprietary indices and made available via the Website (the “Service”).

1.4.          This Privacy Policy sets out how we may use information that identifies or is associated with you (your “Personal Information”) when you use the Service. We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time, and such amendments become effective from the date upon which we make them available on the Website. When we change this Privacy Policy in a material way, we will update the “last modified” date at the end of this Privacy Policy.

2.          Information about us

2.1.          Throughout this Privacy Policy, the terms “we”, “our”, “us” means PF FZ-LLC and its subsidiaries, employees, officers, agents, affiliates or assigned parties.

2.2.          PF FZ-LLC is part of the Property Finder Group of companies, which shall for reference purposes also include Property Finder LLC (Qatar), PFB Bahrain S.P.C., Al Baheth Al Maloomati Co (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia doing business as eSimsar), Property Finder Lebanon SARL, Propertyfinder Morocco SARL (doing business as Sarouty), Propertyfinder Egypt LLC, M.I.B.M.E Mortgage Broker Owned by Propertyfinder Arabia Singl Company LLC (doing business as Mortgage Finder) , and JRD Group DMCC (doing business as Just Property and Propspace).  These companies shall be referred to in this Privacy Policy, collectively, as the “Property Finder Group”, and, individually a “Property Finder Group Company”.

2.3.          PF FZ-LLC is the Data Controller in respect of personal data collected and processed through the Website. Data Controller means a person or legal entity, who (either alone or jointly or in common with other persons), determines the purposes for which and the manner in which any personal data are, or are to be, processed. This means that we determine and are responsible to you for how your personal data is used.

2.4.          If you use a feature or functionality of Property Finder Group Service provided by another Property Finder Group Company, that Property Finder Group Company will also be a Data Controller of the Personal Information you provide to us or it. If you are unsure of the identity of Property Finder Group Companies that are the Data Controllers of your Personal Information, please contact us using the details at the end of this Privacy Policy.


3.1.          We collect the following types of Personal Information:

(a)            Contact information, communications and transaction information: When you register on the Website as a user or otherwise, update your information, purchase any goods or services, take part in promotions or campaigns or contests, sign into our mobile application using your contact details, account details or a social media account, send emails to us, send support or other requests, contact us or any third party via forms or phone numbers made available on our Website, provide feedback, or when you report a problem with our Website, you provide us with information that we store and process. Such information may include your name, address, phone number, email address, purchase and transaction history, billing information (including credit card information) and interests.

(b)            Information about how you use the Website: We also receive information from you as a result of your visits to, and use of, the Website. This can include information such as your IP address, the date and time you access the Website, length of time you spend on the Website, your browsing history (recorded by the text and graphics files that compose that page), and the Internet address of the website from which you linked directly to our Website.

This may include your payment instrument number (e.g., credit card), your name and billing address, and the security code associated with your payment instrument (e.g., the CSV or CVV). The Payment Data, to the extent consisting of details related to the manner and mode of payment of fees for the use of the Website and Service (such as details of your bank account, credit card, debit card, net banking, etc.), submitted by you while making payment of fees: (a) goes through the safe and secure transaction process provided by PF FZ-LLC’s payment gateway partners; (b) goes through the Visa or MasterCard pages, as the case may be, based on your payment method(s) in order to prevent any misuse of your payment details; and (c) is not shared with the Website, PF FZ-LLC, its subsidiaries, affiliates and third parties or any other users of the Website and Service.

(d)            Information We Receive from other Sources: We may receive information about you if you use any of the websites that we, or any Property Finder Group Company, operate, or from any other services that we provide.  We are also working closely with third parties, including but not limited to, business partners, service providers, advertising networks, analytics providers, and search information providers.  We may receive information about you from such third parties.  This information may be combined with other information you provide to us, as described above.


4.1.          We will indicate to you where the provision of certain Personal Information is required in order for us to provide you certain features of the Website, the Service, or to provide other services to you or to answer your queries. If you choose not to provide such Personal Information, we may not be able to provide the Website or our Service to you or to respond to your other requests.

(i)              To make suggestions and recommendations to you and other users of our Website about goods or services that may interest you or them, which may be based on your activity on our Website, or the website of another Property Finder Group Company or third parties’ website(s).

4.4.          We use Personal Information we collect about you automatically to help us make the Website more useful to customers (including to help us assess content of interest to visitors), and for other purposes such as determining the Website’s technical design specifications and identifying system performance or problem areas, for tracking activity on the Website, preparing reports, assessing trends, and otherwise monitoring the way in which the Website is being used.


5.1.          We may share your Personal Information in connection with the purposes above with any Property Finder Group Company.

5.2.          We may share your Personal Information with the following third parties:

(a)            service providers that we use, where you have asked us to do so or it is an implicitly inherent part of your use of the Website. For example, when you enquire about a Service, Property Finder Group Service, or any feature available via our Website, we will pass your Personal Information to the necessary party to complete the request. Upon receipt of your Personal Information, the relevant third party is the Data Controller and their use of your information will be governed by their own terms of use and privacy policy;

(b)            business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors which we may use in connection with the performance of any contract we enter into with them or you; and

(c)            we partner with and are supported by service providers around the world. Personal Information will be made available to these parties only when necessary to fulfill the services they provide to us, such as software, system, and platform support; direct marketing services; cloud hosting services; advertising; data analytics; and order fulfillment and delivery. 6.1.          Keeping your Personal Information secure and preventing unauthorized access is of utmost priority to us, and we take all steps reasonably necessary to protect your Personal Information against any unauthorised access, use, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Whilst we have put in place physical, electronic and managerial procedures to secure and safeguard your Personal Information, due to the nature of the Internet and available technology, we cannot guarantee that the Personal Information provided by you or that is transmitted via this Website or by e-mail is totally secure and safe.
