Dubai rental market started the new year on a high with a month-on-month increase of 19.93 percent by reaching 59,390 registered leases, of which 53.64 percent were new contracts while 46.36 percent were renewals. The annual contracts contributed to 91.57 percent of the total contracts, while 8.43 percent were non-annual. On the other hand, the rental contracts for residential purposes contributed to 66.15 percent of the total contracts with 39,285 contracts, while 32.32 percent were registered for commercial purposes.
